Naples. An attempt to mugging was foiled this morning in Naples. A 36-year-old Georgian, with a criminal record, snatched the cell phone from a woman waiting for the bus on Corso Garibaldi.
Alerted by a passerby, State Police officers set out in pursuit of the thief, launching a manhunt through the streets of the historic center.
The escape was short-lived: hunted and surrounded, the criminal was stopped in Piazza S. Anna a Capuana and arrested.
