Two men, aged 38 and 33 respectively, were arrested by the State Police in Vasto district on charges of unlawful possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
Last evening, during a territorial control operation, officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station noticed an individual in a car on Via Aquileia who, upon seeing the police, attempted to drive away to avoid the check.
Suspicious of his behavior, the officers stopped him, finding inside the vehicle fourteen packages of hashish weighing approximately 41 grams, three packages of marijuana weighing approximately 5 grams, one package of cocaine weighing approximately 0,35 grams, and the sum of 65 euros.

Subsequent investigations revealed that the vehicle was registered to a 33-year-old Neapolitan, owner of a commercial business, already under house arrest for drug-related crimes.
Believing there might be further evidence to uncover, the officers extended the search to the individual's business, where they found 7 blocks, 28 packages, and 3 sticks of hashish weighing a total of approximately 800 grams, 76 packages of marijuana weighing a total of approximately 600 grams, 3 packages of cocaine weighing 3 grams, a precision scale, and various drug packaging materials.
In light of what was discovered, the two men, both Neapolitans and with criminal records, were arrested.
