In the past week, the police officers of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, with the collaboration of the Italian Army soldiers, engaged in the operation called “Safe Roads”, carried out an extraordinary service of territorial control in Garibaldi square.
During the operation, 126 people were identified, 28 of whom had a police record, and 30 vehicles were checked, one of which was subjected to administrative seizure: 3 violations of the Highway Code were also contested.
Finally, the operators reported a 29-year-old from Morocco for receiving stolen goods, as he was found in possession of 7 cell phones and 2 tablets.
