The finance police of the Salerno Provincial Command, on behalf of the Nocera Inferiore Public Prosecutor's Office, executed a precautionary seizure order worth €700, issued by the investigating judge of the Nocera Inferiore Court against three individuals.
They are all under investigation and considered presumed responsible for an activity of buying and selling fake watches.
The investigation began with a previous seizure of counterfeit watches, which occurred in March 2023 at a shipping point in the Agro Sarnese-Nocerino area.
Subsequent investigations conducted by the Fiamme Gialle of the Salerno Group, under the direction of the Nocera Inferiore Prosecutor's Office, have allowed us to identify the involvement of two Service Points operating in the logistics sector and three individuals who, in competition with each other, managed, from January 2020 to March 2023, a profitable business of buying and selling luxury watches and other products with counterfeit brands for a total value of approximately 700 thousand euros.
This activity was carried out through 2.200 shipments throughout the country, concerning various luxury brands, including Rolex and Vacheron Constantin.
The Prosecutor's Office requested and obtained from the investigating judge a precautionary seizure order for an amount equal to the value of the transactions carried out, or approximately 700 thousand euros.
