In Mondragone, in via Lungomare Camillo Federico, the Carabinieri of the Mondragone Territorial Department, together with the personnel of the local Coast Guard, reported at liberty four owners of itinerant catering businesses (sandwich shops) for illegal occupation of a maritime state-owned area.
During the operation, the mobile equipment present on site was seized and entrusted to the custody of the same users. The entire area, including the fixed structures and vehicles, was instead entrusted to the custody of the Mayor of the municipality of Mondragone.
Today's operation was launched following the referral of two of the four people investigated today for theft and illegal connection to the electricity grid, ascertained on August 2nd thanks to a targeted operation conducted by the Carabinieri with the support of specialized personnel from the verification unit of the electricity distribution company "e-distribuzione SpA".
