The Herculaneum Archaeological Park closes out the summer in style, with a weekend packed with extraordinary events offering a unique experience of history, art, and nature. The final event will be held on Friday, August 30th. The Fridays of Herculaneum, an event that has fascinated thousands of visitors during the summer season. The ancient Roman homes are illuminated with a special light during suggestive evening walks, animated by theatrical performances inspired by Hercules, the mythical founder of the city, created in collaboration with Teatri 35.
On Saturday, August 31st, the Park transforms into a dawn show, an unforgettable experience that begins at first light. The sunrise is accompanied by the magical sounds of jazz, thanks to live performances by internationally renowned artists such as Daniele Sepe, Enzo Pietropaoli, and the enchanting voice of Marina Bruno. A perfect blend of archaeological magnificence and the captivating sounds of music, in an atmosphere that harmoniously blends nature and culture.
Finally, on Sunday, September 1st, on the occasion of the #domenicalmuseo initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture, admission will be free. Archaeological Park and Villa Sora will open their doors to the public, offering guided tours curated by the Vesuvius Archaeological Group, an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in ancient history in an engaging and free way.
