An entire community is shocked by the tragic death of Pasquale Montagnaro, the 11-year-old boy who died on August 15th on the beach of Ischitella in Castel Volturno.
That day, while spending a family holiday, Pasquale suddenly felt ill in the water. Immediately rescued and brought to shore, his heart stopped beating after 48 hours at the Santobono pediatric hospital in Naples
The news of his death has thrown Melito, his hometown, and all those who knew him into despair. Remembered as a sunny, intelligent and curious child, Pasquale leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who loved him.
Investigations are ongoing to clarify the causes of death. In the meantime, the community is rallying around Pasquale's family, shaken by this immense tragedy.
