A customer of a tobacconist in San Pellegrino Terme, in the province of Bergamo, won 5 million euros with a 20 euro 'Scratch and Win' ticket from the '100X' series.
It happened last night, and the lucky customer at the shop on Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII is said to be a pensioner who showed up this morning with the winning ticket.
"The lady, who asked to remain anonymous, is a regular customer," explains owner Maurizio Vistalli. "She often buys scratch cards, so she did on Monday and went home."
