On Friday, August 30, 2024, the charming village of Perdifumo, located in the enchanting setting of the upper Cilento, will transform into an open-air stage for the fourth edition of Perdifolk.
A unique event that celebrates the beauty of the historic center and the musical culture of Campania, in a day full of music, art and tradition.
Perdifolk is much more than a simple concert: it is an immersive journey into the ancient and fascinating atmospheres of one of the most characteristic villages of Cilento, where the notes of rock and neo-folk meet the laughter and performances of comedians and young artists.
Organized by Pro Loco Perdifumo e Frazioni, in collaboration with SoundFly, Full Heads, Camella and Graf srl, the event enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Perdifumo, a testament to the cultural and tourist importance of this event.
The “Concerto Simultaneo” format of Perdifolk is as innovative as it is fascinating: the shows will take place “simultaneously and spread out” in the most suggestive squares and corners of the village, without interruptions and interchangeably, allowing the public to move among the architectural and natural beauties of the place and to live a dynamic and engaging experience.
The three main locations – Piazzale della Posta, with its iconic Bell Tower, Piazza Guglielmini, embellished by the historic fountain and the Palazzo of the same name, and Piazza del Municipio with other hidden corners of the village – will become unusual and fascinating stages for artists of the calibre of Valerio Jovine, Roberto Colella (La Maschera), Azul + Vania Di Matteo (Kalìka), Vesuviano, Verrone and Andrea Tartaglia (Tartaglia Aneuro).
An absolutely prestigious cast that represents, as every year, musicians with already established careers, projects in the consolidation phase and young proposals.
To make the evening even more special, the hosting of Vincenzo Comunale and Davide DDL, who with their comic talent will know how to entertain and involve the audience, creating a unique atmosphere. And to complete the activities there will be the Perdipodcast curated by Antonio Porcelli.
And to end on a high note, a final surprise awaits participants: an exclusive concert on the balcony, which promises to provide unrepeatable emotions and an indelible memory of this magical evening that will continue throughout the night with the unmissable final jam session in the central square, which has already been attended by musicians of the caliber of Gianluca Capurro (Gnut), Stella Manfredi and Luigi Castiello (KamAak), Antonio Gomez (La Maschera), Giovanni Schiattarella (Foja), FRE, Dutty Beagle, and many others, in which professional musicians and attendees take turns, not excluding possible unannounced surprises.
Because Perdifolk is not just a musical event, but a true celebration of the culture, history and traditions of Perdifumo and Cilento. An unmissable event for lovers of music, beauty and conviviality, an immersive experience that promises, like every year, to leave its mark in the hearts of all participants.
