The Naples Police Chief, acting on a proposal from the Pompeii Police Station, the Carabinieri of the Pompeii Station, and the Guardia di Finanza – Operational Unit of Torre Annunziata, has ordered a 10-day suspension of the public service of food and beverages at a lounge bar in Pompeii.
Specifically, on the night of April 28, law enforcement officers responded to the venue following a fight between some customers, which, however, ended shortly before their arrival.
Furthermore, on the night of March 9, officers from the Pompeii Police Station responded to traffic problems near the bar caused by parked vehicles blocking the road; with the assistance of a Guardia di Finanza patrol, they managed to restore normal traffic flow.

Again, on the night of January 29, the officers had identified several young people near the kiosk bar, reporting one of them for possession of weapons and objects capable of causing offence, having found with him a blank gun without a red cap and a switchblade.
The premises had already been the subject of checks in the past which had revealed the presence of individuals with police records; the owner he had been fined for violations of anti-COVID regulations and for illegal occupation of public land, resulting in the temporary closure of the bar.
The closure order, implemented this morning, aims to prevent concrete risks to public order and citizen safety.
