Pompeii. It was a personal hygiene kit that cost Luigi Muscerino, a 42-year-old from Boscoreale already known to the police.
He tried to steal shower gel, deodorants and various soaps from a supermarket in Pompeii but a security guard saw everything. He tried to stop him but the 42-year-old hit him and ran away.
The Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata mobile radio section, alerted by the market staff, tracked him down not far away, with the products still in his hands. He was arrested for improper robbery and is now under house arrest, awaiting trial.
