In a new blow to drug dealing in Naples, officers from the Decumani Police Station have busted a thriving drug dealing hub in Borgo Sant'Antonio Abate.

Mobile drug dealing square run by a convicted felon on probation who was arrested in addition to the seizure of over a kilogram of narcotic substances including hashish and marijuana.

The investigation, launched following specific reports from citizens, allowed investigators to identify a suspicious individual who acted with extreme caution.

The police, stationed in Via Santa Maria Avvocata , observed him while he was taking some material from the trunk of an abandoned motorcycle and delivering it to a buyer.

At that point the raid was launched: the man was stopped and subjected to a search, which led to the discovery of a small quantity of marijuana and a sum of cash, presumably the proceeds of drug dealing.

Once his identity was confirmed, the officers extended their search to the abandoned motorcycle, inside which they found a veritable arsenal of drugs: over two blocks of hashish, hundreds of pre-packaged doses of marijuana, precision scales and all the material needed to package the narcotics.

The 40-year-old, already subjected to the alternative measure of semi-liberty, was taken to prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, accused of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
