Naples. The shootings are back in the Spanish Quarter. And this time, Camorra operatives went into action just before dawn.
In fact, this morning around 5am the Carabinieri of the Napoli Centro company intervened in via Montesanto 22 following the explosion of gunshots.
According to initial reconstructions, unknown individuals fired several bullets at the window of a pizzeria undergoing renovation.
There are no injuries. Investigations are underway to clarify the dynamics and cause of the accident.
The owner of the pizzeria was interviewed by the military for summary information. The man reported that he had never received threats or extortion requests and that he could not explain the reasons for the attack.
The Carabinieri are looking for images useful for the investigation by viewing the footage of public and private cameras present in the area.
