They will have to appear before the GUP of the Court of Benevento, Loredana Camerlengo, on November 20th.
This is the outcome of the preliminary hearing notice following the request for referral to trial by the PM Dr. Di Lauto for the three boys (from Telese Terme, Castelvenere and Solopaca) involved in the case concerning the robbery that occurred to the detriment of a shopkeeper last February 6.
The three defendants were investigated for the crimes of aggravated robbery, assault, in complicity and were heard last April 18 by the GIP of the Court of Benevento Vincenzo Landolfi and at that time they told their version of the facts.
Then the GIP revoked the precautionary measure issued by his office on April 12 only for the 18-year-old from Telese Terme (the boy had already been authorized to reach the school in Cerreto Sannita, at the times established therein) in total acceptance of the requests of his lawyer.
Lawyer Massimo Viscusi had in fact revealed the reasons why the "precautionary requirements" could no longer be met, confirming the obligation to remain in the home for the other two boys from Castelvenere and Solopaca.
The three 20-year-olds, all residents of Valle Telesina, had been reported by the Carabinieri of the Cerreto Sannita Company and the Telese Terme Station, at the conclusion of the investigation, considered responsible, in collaboration with each other, for what happened in Telese Terme on February 6th to the detriment of a 64-year-old local shopkeeper.
The investigations were started following a request for intervention by the victim who, late last Tuesday evening, had been robbed of her bag and, while resisting the criminal, had fallen heavily to the ground.
Due to the injuries she sustained, she was rescued and transported to the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Benevento and subsequently underwent surgery.
La victim, in the complaint made to the Judicial Police in the following days, had specified that in the bag there were a small sum of money, personal documents and some gold jewellery of his family that he had preferred to take with him so as not to leave them at home.
The info-investigative activities, supported by the images recorded by private surveillance cameras acquired in the days immediately following the criminal event, allowed us to acquire evidence of guilt against the three.
Furthermore, following house searches carried out on the 20-year-olds, the entire stolen goods were recovered, consisting of the stolen bag, all the gold objects and the personal documents, all of which were returned to the rightful owner.
The three defendants are defended by lawyers Massimo Viscusi, Scetta and Sagnella.
