This is the final weekend for the Sant'Agnello Municipality's open-air film festival, "Under the Starry Sky." Caterina Beach will continue to host screenings on the tuff cliff at 21:00 PM on Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd.
Amnesty International Awareness Video
Before each film, short social awareness videos made in collaboration with Amnesty International will be shown. This initiative is organized by the Equal Opportunities, Gender Policies and Civil Rights Commission of the Municipality of Sant'Agnello, chaired by Prof. Marialuisa Menna.
Weekend Screenings: “Jojo Rabbit” and “Thank You Guys”
On Friday, August 2, against the backdrop of the sea, the film “Jojo Rabbit” will be screened, a comedy about Nazism loosely based on the novel “The Caged Sky” by Christine Leunens. The plot follows a young Hitler follower who discovers that his mother is hiding a Jewish boy in their home. The film has received numerous awards, including the Oscars, the BAFTAs, the Critics Choice Awards, and the Writers Guild Awards.
On Saturday, August 3, the festival will end with “Grazie ragazzi,” an Italian introspective comedy starring Antonio Albanese. The story tells of Antonio, a passionate but often unemployed actor, who accepts a job teaching a theater workshop in a penitentiary institution, offered to him by an old friend and colleague. The film received 2 nominations and won an award at the Nastri d'Argento.

The open-air cinema festival “Under the Starry Sky” is sponsored by the Metropolitan City of Naples and is part of the 2023-2024 metropolitan events program, as part of the “Sant'Agnello. Lights, colors and music” II edition project.
