Naples. Educational interventions and workshops to emotionally support the children and families housed in the dormitory set up at Federico II University after the collapse of the landing in the Vela Celeste building in the Scampia neighborhood.

This is the initiative of the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation together with Circo Corsaro, which has been present in Scampia for seven years with a socio-educational social circus project dedicated to children and young people to combat marginalization and school dropout and promote personal and collective well-being.

"This is the time to rebuild and build on stronger foundations." Thus Marco Benini, pedagogue and head of socio-educational projects of the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation, who adds: "Sociability, community, mutual aid, understanding, and sharing difficulties—these key words belong to the realm of emotional intelligence and offer all of us the stability and security we lack when we face the most dramatic moments of our lives."

Trust, Hope and Resilience "they must be able to concretely enter - Benini maintains - into the lives of our children and young people".

Patrizio Paoletti Foundation e Circus Corsaro, alongside the displaced population since the first days after the collapse to ensure people have basic necessities, since July 30th they have been setting up spaces and educational workshops in various locations in the neighborhood led by their social circus operators with the aim of offering an opportunity to strengthen social ties and share personal resources.

"It's nice to see - still the pedagogue and responsible for socio-educational projects - like the children, children and families, even in such dramatic moments, can express great participation, profound empathy and thirst for that beauty that only care and attention can generate.

We are happy to be able to contribute to helping the community deal with such a difficult situation."

The Patrizio Paoletti Foundation's initiative is also made possible thanks to the collaboration of various local figures and organizations. Specifically, Vincenzo Paradisone, president of the council of associations of Naples' Municipality 8.
