Sergio Assisi will be the undisputed star of the opening day of the fourteenth edition of "Segreti d'Autore," the festival conceived by Ruggero Cappuccio and directed by Nadia Baldi, dedicated to the Environment, Science, Arts, and Legality.
Sergio Assisi and his "Author's Secrets"
The Neapolitan actor and director, accompanied by artistic director Nadia Baldi, will engage in a conversation with the public on Friday at 21 pm and share his "artistic secrets" at Palazzo Coppola in Valle-Sessa Cilento (SA). This will be followed by a screening of "My Kingdom for a Butterfly," the film written, directed, and starring Assisi himself. The plot tells the story of Sasà, a fallen nobleman who boasts of being the king of the island of Ischia and who seduces everyone with his charm and Shakespearean wit.
Screening and Cast Details
In the film, in addition to Assisi, there are numerous actors who play characters with unique characteristics: a friend who rents out goiters, a bizarre lawyer, a girlfriend who wants to marry him, a hotel manager who can't stand him and many others. Among them, true love will come to destabilize his kingdom. The cast includes Federica De Benedittis, Giuseppe Cantore, Tosca D'Aquino and many other talented artists.
