The Carabinieri executed a precautionary measure issued by the Benevento investigating judge against a man who shot at the car of a relative of his ex-partner.
A 33-year-old from Apice was placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet, accused of mistreatment in the family, carrying and illegal possession of a firearm.
The investigation began after a gunshot was fired during the night between August 15th and 16th, hitting a parked car owned by a 39-year-old man, also from Apice.

The car suffered damage to the window of the driver's side door, inside and on the passenger side window.
The victim of the attack and other witnesses provided evidence useful for identifying the perpetrator, and the subsequent search of the 33-year-old's home led to the seizure of a .22 caliber revolver, found in a cabinet on the landing.
The shooting was related to the hostility shown by the arrested man towards the owner of the vehicle, who had defended his relative, the suspect's ex-partner, from the violence she suffered after the end of their relationship.
