Torre Annunziata. The police are investigating to track down the perpetrators of a shooting that occurred late this afternoon on the streets of Torre Annunziata.
A 21-year-old man was injured in the legs and was transported to thehospital San Leonardo di Castellammare. His conditions are not serious and his life is not in danger.
The police are waiting for the emergency room doctors to stabilize the injured man so they can give him a quick summary and try to get useful information for the investigation.
The attack occurred on the central Via Sambuco, at the corner of Via Commercio. The victim, who was on foot, was approached by a man on a scooter who shot him in the legs. The wounded 21-year-old has no criminal record.
