Last 24 hours at the mercy of bad weather, moving east and south. Then high pressure will return with temperatures up to 35-37°C over the weekend.
Temporal Rain will be persistent at times, especially on the Adriatic coast, offshore, and along the coasts and in the south. The weather will be intensified by sea temperatures, with water temperatures still locally around 28-29°C.
In the next few hours there will be heavy showers from Romagna to Molise and again between Sicily, Calabria and lower Campania. From tomorrow the weather will improve almost everywhere. A tail of bad weather will affect the south and the Adriatic side especially close to the reliefs.

Starting Thursday, high pressure will return with sunshine and heat across the country. Temperatures will hover around 30°C everywhere, with peaks above 35°C. Over the weekend, the hottest cities will be Taranto and Benevento with 37°C, followed by Caserta, Ferrara, Foggia, and Terni with 36°C. In detail: Wednesday 21st: In the north: clear or partly cloudy everywhere. In the center: partly cloudy. In the south: last few clouds, then improving.
Thursday 22nd: In the north: sunny and warm, with some showers in the Alps. In the center: sunny and warm. In the south: sunny and warm, with more clouds in Sicily and the mountains. - Outlook: good weather until Sunday, then an Atlantic disturbance arriving.
