After a flourishing festival run, “Un bacio di troppo”, a short film written by Dave Given and directed by Vincenzo Lamagna, continues to surprise with its intense promotion in the film selection circuit. To date, the short film can boast participation in 36 national and international selections, including some prestigious festivals such as the Social World, the Naples Film Festival, Cortisonanti, the Carpine Visciano Award and the BCT.
A Brilliant Idea Born by Dave Given
The short is the fruit of the imagination of Dave Given, a young mathematician born in 1984 who, at night, transforms into a writer and screenwriter. Given has already gained visibility thanks to his publications with PAV Edizioni, including “Love is a black apostrophe between distinct and distant words”, “Open parenthesis” and “A heart in the dream”. “A kiss too many” is a delicate metaphor for the vulnerability of human feelings, a story that, between jealousy, paranoia and sensuality, offers a profound reflection on the archetypes present in contemporary society.
Directed by Vincenzo Lamagna
Vincenzo Lamagna, director and founder of NaNo Film and its spin-off NaNo Film Production, directed the short film with great mastery. The plot revolves around the characters of Ciro, Maria and Fabrizio, each representing different facets of society and the human psyche. Gianluca Di Gennaro plays Ciro, while Fernanda Pinto is Maria, and Vittorio Nastri brings Fabrizio to the stage.
