Arzano. Swine fever alert, two reported and fined €60: Local police and veterinarians launched an operation to combat the spread of the epidemic.
The operation aimed at countering the spread of African swine fever is the one implemented by the local police of Arzano, directed by Commander Biagio Chiariello, and the health workers of the ASL Napoli Nord.
An illegal farm with numerous animals, including some pigs, was discovered on a land of about a thousand meters bordering the Municipality of Grumo Nevano, the owner of which did not produce documentation regarding their traceability.
Following the intervention, the potential danger to the health of consumers was ascertained.

Meanwhile, over 50 thousand pigs have been slaughtered in Italy to contain oedipemia and the Government Extraordinary Commissioner has announced that there are 24 outbreaks in domestic farms.
Following the operations, violations amounting to over 60 thousand euros were contested and the holders were reported for the crimes foreseen by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples North.
Building violations were also contested because the buildings were illegal.
Meanwhile, in the city there has been a case of some stray pigs that were promptly stopped, a case attributable to possible abandonment by the owners to avoid complaints.
