The Civil Protection of Campania, based on the assessments of the Functional Center, has issued a weather alert with Yellow criticality for hydrogeological risk, valid from 18:00 today to 18:00 tomorrow throughout the regional territory.
Local to scattered rainfall is expected, including showers or thunderstorms, which could be intense. In addition to the hydrogeological criticality, the warning also includes "strong winds from the western quadrants, with gusts" and rough or very rough seas, with possible storm surges along exposed coasts.

It is necessary to pay attention to the hydrogeological risk, which can cause flooding, rising water levels of watercourses, water flow on roads, runoff with transport of material, falling rocks and landslides, also considering the saturation of the soil and conditions of hydrogeological fragility.
Strong gusts of wind and rough seas
Due to the gusts of wind and the rough sea, the competent authorities must monitor the public greenery and the maintenance of the exposed structures. Civil protection invites the Municipalities to activate the Municipal Operations Centres (COC), to follow the communications of the Unified Regional Operations Room and to implement all preventive, contrast and mitigation measures of the expected phenomena, in accordance with the municipal civil protection plans.
