Angri. A video of a brawl in the nightlife district involving dozens of young people and a car attempting to run over rivals is going viral.
Last night, the streets of Angri's nightlife turned into a real battlefield, with dozens of young people engaging in a violent brawl outside a club, for reasons yet to be clarified.
Participants used chairs, tables, bottles and other blunt objects as weapons. During the clash, some young people in a white car even attempted to run over their rivals.
The images of what happened were sent to the deputy of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, by the Ethics, Health and Liveability Committee, who urged the Prefect to intervene to address the security emergency in the city.
“The images I received testify to the blind violence with which the groups of young people, protagonists of this disgrace, faced each other in the street, knocking over everything and everyone, throwing chairs, tables, bottles at their opponents.
Particularly serious was also the attempt by some of them, on board a car, to run over their rivals. We sent the images to the police to trace the identity of all the protagonists of the brawl in order to punish them as they deserve for having unleashed panic among those present.
I agree with the Committee's requests to bring to the attention of the Prefect the security emergency in Angri that cannot remain hostage to the violent on weekends. We need more police presence to control the territory, taking it away from the violent and returning it to decent people". This is Borrelli's comment.
