### From Pop to Sacred Music
Antonella Ruggiero's career has not been limited to pop. In recent years, the artist has also explored music linked to Western, Indian, and African religious cultures, including Broadway, Portuguese fado, and Italian songwriting from the interwar period. This eclecticism will be well represented in the concert, with songs ranging from "Vacanze romane" to "Echi d'infinito."
### A Journey to the Southern Hemisphere
The recital will be a journey through new cultures, new sounds and rhythms that have made the history of Italian and international pop music. From the pop of Matia Bazar to the musical contaminations between titles such as “Balada do Sino” from the Portuguese tradition, “Kirie” from an African Luba mass, and the Sardinian “Non potho reposare”, up to the famous Cuban “Guantanamera”.
### Successes and Future Plans
The Mosaici Festival, under the artistic direction of Maestro Mauro Navarra, has already hosted artists such as James Senese, Raiz, Giorgio Prezioso, and Antonio Onorato. After the grand musical finale, the event will continue with theater and dance programs throughout October 2024 in the towns of Ascea, Cuccaro Vetere, Futani, Laurito, Pisciotta, San Giovanni a Piro, and San Mauro la Bruca, which have supported the initiative. "We are particularly pleased with the public response to this edition," emphasizes Maestro Navarra. "The Festival is ready to establish itself permanently in the region, finding its strength in the diversity of its artistic offerings."
