Two drug dealers were arrested yesterday morning in the Traiano district, following an operation conducted by officers from the San Paolo Police Station. During a check on Via Tertulliano, officers noticed two individuals who, upon seeing them, attempted to flee, but were quickly apprehended despite their resistance.
During the operation, the officers searched a basement room near which the two suspects were located, finding approximately 37 grams of cocaine, 2 grams of hashish and 1,6 grams of marijuana, along with drug packaging material and a sum of 45 euros.
A sophisticated system was also discovered in the premises video surveillance, which allowed the two to monitor the perimeter and access to the area to evade any checks. The two arrested, Neapolitans aged 29 and 21, already known to the police for specific precedents, were charged with illicit possession of narcotics and reported for resisting a public official.
