Foreign drug dealers in the Porta Capuana area appear to be taking turns, and after the arrest of a Venezuelan citizen caught with drugs, comes the arrest of a young Gambian man already known to law enforcement.
It happened last afternoon, the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, while passing through Piazza San Francesco di Paolo, noticed a man who, in exchange for a banknote, gave something to a person who then quickly walked away.
The police officers, who promptly intervened to interrupt the criminal process, stopped the suspect, finding him in possession of 20 bars of hashish weighing approximately 60 grams, 9 ecstasy pills weighing approximately 3,50 grams and 10 euros.
For these reasons, a 29-year-old Gambian with a criminal record, including specific ones, he was arrested for illicit possession of narcotic substances.
