The discovery was made during a territory check, in the basement of a building located in Vico Lammatari.
In addition to the famous Russian assault rifle, a severed shotgun and an over-and-under hunting rifle, stolen in Giffoni Vallepiana and Brescia respectively.
Furthermore, two 6,35 caliber Beretta pistols, a Beretta 98FS and 113 bullets of various calibers were found.
All the items were seized and will be subjected to ballistic tests to determine if they were used in violent crimes.
The scientific investigations section will be responsible for verifying the presence of fingerprints on the seized materials, useful for identifying who handled them.
