The project for the redevelopment and redevelopment of the Sabatino De Rosa stadium in Arzano was presented yesterday in the Senate, in the Sala Caduti di Nassirya, which obtained funding of over one million euros with an amendment presented by the center-right senators.
The initiative, promoted by Forza Italia senator Francesco Silvestro, was attended by the president of the Forza Italia senators Maurizio Gasparri and the Forza Italia senators Dario Damiani and Claudio Lotito.
“The recovery and development of sports infrastructures in our cities is very important, both for those who practice sports and for those who participate in them. – Gasparri underlined – For this reason, the redevelopment and renovation of the Arzano stadium is a project that certainly deserves appreciation.
The proposal for sports activities is often praised, but then we need to move from words to action. And the current center-right government has already shown that it knows how to do this, as in the most serious and striking case of Caivano. This is why our commitment does not end today, but will continue with our proposal on urban regeneration. We at Forza Italia are here and will be here”.
“I was born and raised in Arzano, which is why I am proud and honoured to announce this important redevelopment project for the municipal stadium in my city. – Senator Silvestro underlined – An opportunity for the entire community, which after ten years will see the doors of its stadium reopen. I thank the Forza Italia group that has given me the opportunity to allocate an important contribution to this project. We will do our best to ensure that Arzano returns to being a point of reference for everyone”.
Senator Damiani recalled how “thanks to the commitment of FI, always open to listening to the territories, we have managed to identify important resources in the financial maneuver in favor of this project”.
For Senator Lotito, however, "every soccer field is an important gathering place, because sport represents one of the founding values of our society. Humility, merit and respect for the rules that are taught in sport are fundamental elements in the education of our young people. Providing them with gathering spaces, especially in the suburbs, means giving them an alternative to bullying or drugs. We will continue to fight for projects that go in this direction, providing concrete answers".
