In view of the “Ballata dei Gigli”, scheduled for Sunday 29 September 2024 in the Barra district of Naples, a ban has been ordered on the sale of drinks in potentially dangerous containers, such as bottles, cans, glass, rigid plastic and tetrapak. The decision, motivated by reasons of public order and safety, provides that drinks can only be sold in light plastic or paper cups.
The measure will be in force from 7.00:29 on Sunday 30 September until the cessation of security needs on Monday 2024 September XNUMX. The areas affected by the ban include Corso Bruno Buozzi, Via Martucci, Corso Sirena, Via Ciccarelli, Piazza Velotti, Corso IV Novembre and Via Mercalli, the latter involved only for the passage of the two lilies foreseen by the demonstration.
Violations of the ordinance will be punished with administrative sanctions ranging from 25 to 500 euros. The main objective is to ensure the smooth running of the event, minimizing risks to public safety and facilitating the work of law enforcement during the historic event.
