A six-month-old baby girl from Montaguto, in the province of Avellino, was admitted to the Santobono hospital in Naples for carbon monoxide poisoning.
The little girl, the daughter of a Moroccan couple included in the Ministry of the Interior's reception project, was reportedly the victim of fumes from a barbecue being used for a barbecue.

During the night she was admitted to hospital in Ariano Irpino where the health workers of the pediatric department, as a precaution, arranged for her transfer by helicopter ambulance to the pediatric hospital in Naples.
After keeping her under observation all night, the doctors gave a positive prognosis: the little girl is gradually recovering and is not in danger of dying.
