Carabinieri officers from the Caivano branch conducted an anti-drug operation that led to the arrest of Franco Ambrosio, a 39-year-old man already known to law enforcement.
During a check in via Cairoli, the soldiers observed Ambrosio handing over two packages to a young man from the window of his home.
The young man was immediately stopped and found in possession of two doses of cocaine.
Ambrosio, who was under house arrest, sought refuge inside his apartment. Once inside, the Carabinieri surprised him while he was trying to destroy some cocaine with acid in a jar.

Arrested, during the search, remains of burnt cocaine were found, material for packaging the doses, a precision scale, a knife and scissors contaminated with cocaine, as well as 240 euros in cash.
Franco Ambrosio was then transferred to prison.
