Boscoreale, family attacked by thieves in their home: car stolen, disabled uncle hit

A nightmarish evening for a family from Boscoreale, victims of a brutal attack by a gang of thieves. Last night, a woman, her parents, her daughters and her disabled uncle were targeted by criminals. Around 21:30 pm, the woman noticed a suspicious car parked in front of her parents' house on surveillance cameras. Suspicious, she went out to check, accompanied by her parents and uncle.

As soon as they arrived at the scene, the woman asked the girl driving the suspicious car for explanations. Suddenly, the alarm at her parents' house went off, causing the girl to flee. At that moment, four men climbed over the gate of the property, visibly in a panic. The thieves, shouting in a foreign language, attacked the woman and her mother, hitting them on the legs with a whip, and then got into the victim's car. The uncle, who remained seated in the car, was thrown to the ground and run over by the fleeing thieves.

In their haste, the criminals headed toward a dead end, crashing into a wall. Trying to drive off, they collided with the car of a resident who had rushed to help. Blocked, the four abandoned the car and fled on foot, punching the woman's father in the chest along the way. They then hid in a nearby house, where they attempted another robbery. The entire scene was captured on camera and the videos were handed over to law enforcement.

“We are still in shock”, the woman told MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, of the Green-Side Alliance. “Our area is being targeted by thefts. It’s a miracle we’re still alive, but it could have ended in tragedy. We can’t live in fear of returning home. Immediate action is needed.”

The deputy Borrelli he commented firmly: “These criminals must be arrested as soon as possible and brought to justice. No reduction in sentence for such ruthless individuals. The area has been the victim of thefts and robberies for too long. We need a stronger presence of law enforcement, new security posts and police stations. We will soon organize a demonstration in Boscoreale to ask for greater security. Citizens can no longer live in terror.”
