Naples is preparing to welcome Giannini Editore to the Campania Libri Festival, scheduled for October 4-6. Two important events mark the presence of the historic publishing house during the event: “How publishing is changing” and “Enjoyable authors, stimulating collections”.
The program
On Friday 4 October at 16:00 pm, in the Sala Copernico, the event “How publishing is changing” will be held, with the presentation of the Sorsi series. Speakers will include Silvana Di Martino, Antonella Fabbricatore, Elio Notarbartolo, Roberta Scotto, Paola Proietti, Pietro Treccagnoli, Lino Zaccazia and Sergio Zazzera. The meeting will be introduced by Editorial Director Giulia Giannini, while the conduction will be entrusted to the journalist Tiuna Notarbartolo. The Sorsi series represents an innovation in the publishing world, offering small format books (A6) and a low price (6 euros), but with great value in terms of content. The topics covered range from prose to essays, from stories to scientific reflections, from history to traditions, thus responding to the new needs of increasingly rapid and usable communication.
Saturday's Appointments
On Saturday 5 October at 11:00, again in the Sala Copernico, the meeting “Enjoyable authors, stimulating collections” will take place, dedicated to the various collections of Giannini Editore. Eleonora Belfiore, Antonio Corvino, Gianpaola Costabile, Mirella D'Orsi and Gioconda Marinelli will participate. Also in this case, the Editorial Director Giulia Giannini will introduce the meeting, while the journalist Tiuna Notarbartolo will moderate the discussion. During the event, some of the main collections of the publishing house will be presented, such as “Pem”, “Romanzi dai cinque continenti”, “La Cisterna”, Kids, Art's, and “Generazione tempesta”.
The History of Giannini Editore
Giannini Editore boasts a long history of 168 years, and in the last two years it has made important steps forward with the launch of eight new series and about thirty new authors. Its series cover a wide range of genres and target audiences, from novels to children's books, from art texts to young adult books, demonstrating a constant ability to renew and adapt to market needs.
Book signings and Authors
During the days of the Festival, various authors of Giannini Editore will be present and will participate in signing sessions, offering the public the opportunity to meet them personally and discover their works.
