Over the past twenty days, a decrease in the rate of ground uplift has been observed in the Phlegraean Fields, as reported in the weekly bulletin of the Vesuvius Observatory of the INGV in Naples.
This data is consistent with observations from the previous week, confirming a slowdown in the bradyseism phenomenon affecting the area.
Since mid-April 2024, the average uplift rate in Rione Terra, Pozzuoli, has been approximately 20 millimeters per month, with a decrease in the last twenty days that will be better defined with future data. Overall, since the beginning of 2024, uplift in Rione Terra has been approximately 14,5 centimeters.
