Castellammare. Second fatal accident in 12 hours on the streets of Castellammare.
This time it happened right in the city centre and the person who lost his life was a 39 year old motorcyclist. The man was riding his powerful scooter when, for reasons currently being investigated, he was seen flying into the air together with his motorbike by motorists following him.
The motorbike crashed into some cars parked along the road. The motorcyclist then crashed violently to the ground.
He died instantly. When a 118 crew arrived on site a few minutes later, they could do nothing but confirm his death.
On site the police forces for the surveys together with the municipal police. The road was closed to traffic causing inconvenience and slowdowns.
