Police are trying to figure out how the figurine, which depicted an ancient pagan deity, fell. According to rumors, it may not have fallen accidentally but was thrown by mistake from a window of a third-floor apartment, where several people, including minors, were staying.

The Naples prosecutor's office has opened an investigation for manslaughter, although there are currently no suspects. The figurine, which weighed about two kilos, fell from a height of over ten meters, hitting a second-floor balcony and breaking.

One of the fragments hit Chiara in the head, causing fatal injuries. Her boyfriend said he had the impression that it was not the only object that fell from the sky.

Chiara's parents opposed the autopsy. The father, Gianfranco, a well-known condominium administrator in Padua, publicly thanked the doctors at the Ospedale del Mare, expressing gratitude for their humanity and professionalism.

Chiara Jaconis studied economics in Venice and, after graduating, continued with a master's degree in management in the fashion sector between London, Turin and Paris.

She worked for major brands such as Moncler, Givenchy, Louboutin and Prada. In her professional profile she described herself as “passionate, reliable and hardworking”, with a strong passion for luxury fashion, healthy food and physical activity.
