The preliminary phase of the first degree trial against the leaders of the Di Lauro clan, including Vincenzo Di Lauro, opened yesterday. Tina Rispoli and her husband, the famous neo melodic singer Tony Colombo.
Eight of the more than twenty defendants have requested the conditional abbreviated trial, hoping for new elements in their favor, while the other twelve have opted for the “dry” abbreviated trial. The judge will decide by the end of September.
The goal is to obtain the expected reduction in sentence: but what will be interesting to evaluate is the development of the trial with the testimonies, the story of the repentants and the statements of the defendants themselves.
