A man, stabbed in the throat, was found dead along Viale Dohrn, in the gardens a stone's throw from the Lungomare di Napoli.
The police intervened on site to start the investigation. As soon as they received the report, the State Police intervened promptly with the patrol cars of the prevention office, together with the Guardia di Finanza.
The site of the discovery was immediately cordoned off to allow investigators to collect all possible evidence without interference.

Investigators are now working to establish the identity of the man, likely a homeless, and try to understand what might have happened.
The investigation focuses not only on reconstructing the events leading up to the stabbing, but also on finding any witnesses or security cameras that may have filmed the crime scene.
The body was found in the gardens of Viale Dohrn, a usually quiet area frequented by families and citizens who take advantage of the proximity to the Lungomare di Napoli for walks and recreational activities.
