Result: cargo seized and courier arrested. A coup of about three million euros for the drug lords in the area. The operation was conducted by the finance police of the Provincial Command of Naples and those of the Torre Annunziata Group.

The operation of this seizure is that the packages of cocaine had among others the inscription "Sacred Heart of Jesus" but also "Apple".

The military had noticed a van of those used for transport that was making sudden maneuvers in traffic. As if it was in a hurry. Suspicious of the behavior, they decided to stop it to subject it to a check.

A cardboard container containing 20 vacuum-packed packages of narcotic substance was found in the trunk of the vehicle which, after a quick analysis, turned out to be of the cocaine type.

Some of the blocks, presumably to identify the batch of drugs during subsequent sales, bore a sticker reproducing the “Apple” logo, others the inscription “Qorr” and still others the effigy of the “Sacred Heart of Jesus”.

Once placed on the market, the drug would have brought in 3 million euros

The drug, if placed on the market, would have brought the criminals an illicit profit of approximately three million euros.

The driver of the van was arrested for the crime of traffic and illicit possession of narcotic substances.

The drugs found were seized along with the vehicle and phones in use. Investigations are now continuing to track down the suppliers and end customers.

Of particular interest for the investigations are chats and telephone conversations.
