A heavy blow to drug lords in the Vesuvian area with the seizure of 23 kilograms of cocaine and marijuana.
The coup was carried out by the finance police of the Provincial Command of Naples who arrested two people, namely the two couriers.
Over 23 kg of narcotic substances were seized (13 kg of cocaine, over 10 kg of marijuana and approximately 200 grams of hashish).
In particular, during checks along the main roads of the Vesuvian towns, soldiers from the Torre Annunziata Group noticed, between the municipalities of Poggiomarino and Scafati, a car that was suspiciously "following" a minivan at close range, in a manner that attracted the attention of the investigators.
The two cars were then stopped and searched. And the surprise came from the trunk of the minivan where 10 packages of marijuana were found, in two cardboard boxes, weighing about 10 kg and 14 blocks of cocaine, in a suitcase, weighing over 13 kg.
At that point the search was extended to the homes of the two arrested and in the home of one of the two, approximately 200 grams of hashish were found.

Of course the drivers of the vehicles, namely the two couriers, were arrested for the crimes of trafficking and illicit possession of large quantities of narcotic substances.
Investigations are now continuing to track down the suppliers and establish which clans in the Vesuvian area the drugs were directed to.
