On the occasion of the Napoli-Monza football match, played last night at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, the Naples Local Police intensified checks around the stadium's perimeter, focusing on preventing and repressing crimes related to events of this magnitude.
The operation led to the identification of six unauthorized parking, all already known for repeat offenders, who were subjected to administrative sanctions and reported to the judicial authorities. At the same time, five taxi drivers were caught exercising their activity outside of their shift, which is why their licenses were immediately withdrawn.
The Police also issued 97 reports for violations of the Highway Code, resulting in the seizure of 71 vehicles. In addition, three administrative seizures were carried out against illegal street vendors, who were selling hundreds of bottles of water, t-shirts, scarves and gadgets without authorization.
