After the explosion that occurred last Sunday, the rescue and investigation machine was set in motion at full speed. Following yesterday's meeting between the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca and the Mayor of Saviano, Vincenzo Simonelli, today the first inspection was carried out by Arpac, Civil Engineering, Regional Civil Protection and municipal technicians to begin the classification of the materials to be removed in the area affected by the accident.
The intervention was deemed necessary to speed up the clean-up operations and restore traffic flow in complete safety once the public prosecutor's office Nola will proceed to release the area. The inspection allowed technicians to identify the most suitable measures for the removal of debris and hazardous materials, in order to minimize risks for citizens and restore normal traffic flow in the affected area.
Local institutions, in close collaboration with technical bodies and Civil Protection, are working to ensure rapid and effective interventions, with the aim of bringing the situation back to normal as quickly as possible.
