### The Conclusion of the “Fridays of Herculaneum” at the Archaeological Park
Friday, August 30th marked the conclusion of the summer event "Fridays in Ercolano" at the Ercolano Archaeological Park. This series of evenings, which unfolded through the ancient streets illuminated and enlivened by theatrical performances by Teatri 35, was a resounding success, attracting a total of 2.487 lucky visitors despite numerous sold-out audiences during the 16 sessions held every Friday since August 2nd.
### A Journey Through Time
The 2024 edition gave particular emphasis to the Antica Spiaggia, a symbolic place recently made accessible to visitors. The route started from this area and branched out between ancient houses and streets, offering a journey through time enriched by the theatrical performances of the actors of Teatri 35, who made the journey even more engaging.
### Successes and New Perspectives
Director Sirano expressed great satisfaction for the success of the event, underlining how the Park has become a point of reference for visitors to the area during the summer. In addition to the Friday evenings, the new dawn routes have also attracted considerable interest. Furthermore, the Park is ready to reopen the Ancient Theater, offering a unique experience meters below ground, inviting visitors to alternate outdoor exploration with underground exploration.
### Reopening of the Ancient Theatre
Starting from September 4th, the entrances to the Ancient Theatre will resume with biweekly openings for groups of 10 people, until November 9th, with six daily visits. Visitors will have the opportunity to transform themselves into explorers, equipped with helmets, capes and torches, to discover the history of the ancient city through the eighteenth-century tunnels, accompanied by the Park staff as part of a valorization project.
