Felice Granisso, CEO of Tea Tek and Italian Green Factory, receives the “Amato Lamberti” award for Social Responsibility in Naples, in the business category.
"This recognition," Granisso stated, "is an honor for me and for the entire Tea Tek group, which has undertaken the ambitious project of redeveloping the former Whirlpool area by creating a new company, the Italian Green Factory, which will bring the first green factory to Naples with the goal of becoming a benchmark for renewable energy in Southern Italy and throughout Italy.
It is an honour to be among the many personalities who for Napoli they have played and continue to play an important social role through art, culture, journalism, work, in the spirit of that civil commitment that the figure of Amato Lamberti brings to mind.
As a corporate group we have undertaken a huge challenge from an industrial and social perspective: via Argine was a void to be filled, the void that is created when work is no longer there and hundreds of workers, both male and female, are left at home asking for another chance.

Tea Tek responded, with the support of local and national institutions, with the collaboration of the unions, first of all allowing the rehiring of the workforce, then to begin the redevelopment of the area where a new factory will be built.
It is a complex process, but we are proud to have started it, giving our contribution to the city for having healed a social issue that had dragged on for years, and then for having started the process of urban and environmental redevelopment of an area destined for degradation.
The work to demolish the old factories, made complex by the presence of asbestos, has not stopped and we can't wait to activate the new factory", concludes Granisso.
The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday 21 September from 18pm in the San Lorenzo Maggiore Complex (Sala Sisto V).
