Heavy rains during the night caused a landslide that invaded the state road to Agerola.
Water and debris from Mount Pendolo have invaded Via Piana, Via Sanzano, Via Castellammare and the State Road to Agerola. At the moment there are no injuries or damage to property. The roads have been temporarily closed.
A mudslide and debris reached the streets of the center of Castellammare.
Firefighters and civil protection are working to restore traffic and verify further dangerous situations.
20 families evacuated in Gragnano
The mayor of the municipality of Gragnano has issued an ordinance evacuation as a precaution for 20 people (5 families in total) all resident in via Piana and via Sanzano.
Also on site were the Carabinieri of the mobile radio section of the Castellammare di Stabia company and the military of the Sant'Antonio Abate station.
