Naples celebrates Pino Daniele with a unique day of music and culture
On Thursday, September 19, Naples will prepare to celebrate one of its most beloved artists: Pino Daniele. The Pineta del Teatro dei Piccoli, located on Viale Usodimare in the Mostra d'Oltremare exhibition center, will host Pino Daniele Day, a free event for the whole family, featuring a rich program dedicated to music, culture, and nature. This special day is promoted by the City of Naples and supported by the National Fund for Live Performances of the Ministry of Culture. The Settembre in Pineta initiative, organized by Casa del Contemporaneo, is part of Affabulazione, a project that enhances cultural heritage and promotes intergenerational encounters.
### Activities for the little ones
The morning will be entirely dedicated to children and families, with events starting at 10.00:6. Giuseppe Coppola will lead two musical workshops: Esplora e Suona! for children aged 9 to 3 and Musicatura for children aged 6 to XNUMX. These workshops will offer creative experiences by transforming common objects into musical instruments, allowing children to explore the connection between music and nature.
### Guided tours and science workshops
At the same time, at 11.00:11.00, the guided tours Un Teatro d'Arte curated by Le Nuvole Arte will begin. These visits will allow you to discover the Teatro dei Piccoli, an architectural masterpiece by Luigi Piccinato. Also at XNUMX:XNUMX, the Verde Speranza laboratory, led by Le Nuvole Scienza, will offer a walk among the maritime pines to explore the biodiversity of the pine forest.
### Theatrical and puppet shows
At 12.00:6, the Teatro dei Piccoli will host the show Le favole della sanità, based on the famous fables of Aesop, Phaedrus and La Fontaine, with live percussion by Dario Mennella. The show is suitable for children aged 17.00 and up. In the afternoon, at XNUMX:XNUMX, the little ones will be able to enjoy the puppet show Pulcinella che Passione, by Antonello Furmiglieri.
### Music and dance to celebrate Pino Daniele
Starting at 16.00:16.30 PM, the magic of Pino Daniele's music will come to life with Bagarija Orkestar, who will perform a traveling music performance reinterpreting the singer-songwriter's hits in a Balkan key. At XNUMX:XNUMX PM, the artistic collective FUNA will present an aerial dance performance inspired by Pino Daniele's songs, entitled M'Aggio Appiso.
### Documentaries and musical readings
The documentary Nero Napoletano, screened at 17.00:18.00 p.m., will tell the story of the deep bond between the young Pino Daniele and Naples, with anecdotes from his classmates. At XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., Tony Laudadio will pay homage to the singer-songwriter with the reading Pasqualino e Alessiuccia – La città che incanta, accompanied by live musicians.
### DJ Closing Set
The day will end at 19.00 pm with the Neapolitan Sound Vinyl DJ Set by Roberto Tabacchini, dedicated to the sounds of Neapolitan Power, a musical movement of which Pino Daniele was the greatest exponent.
