Naples. A fire broke out this morning on via Terracina in Naples, in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood not far from the Maradona stadium.
The flames burned much of the vegetation separating the road from the houses.
The smoke rose with the complicity of the wind and reached the adjacent houses. Many citizens were forced to stay indoors.
Others, however, those who live on the lower floors, took to the streets for fear that the flames could invade their homes.
The arrival of two teams of firefighters averted the worst. The flames were put out in a few minutes. The images of the fire posted on the web immediately went viral.
