After more than twenty years of absence, artist Ugo Levita makes his grand return to Naples with the exhibition "Intermundia," curated by Melania Fusaro and Culturadice. The exhibition will be open until September 28th in the historic setting of the Church of Santa Maria di Portosalvo, offering a unique and unmissable experience for all lovers of art and beauty.
The Essence of “Intermundia”
“Intermundia” is an invitation to imagine a blissful space above the plausible, a universe free from any form of gravity, beyond the limits of consciousness and knowledge. This exhibition of paintings is positioned in an indeterminate space between worlds populated by imaginative presences, where every possibility and diversity comes to life. Here, chaos finds its discipline, and friction surpasses itself, creating a utopian universe floating between ideas and ideals, between the real and the imaginary.
Visual Utopias and Beyond
The universe proposed by Levita is a mirage of new horizons, an ecosystem where dreams and dreamers meet in a perfect harmonic sequence. The rational and irrational elements are arranged in a show that transcends reality, offering spectators a journey through infinite “levitatis mundi”. In this space, art and vision merge, allowing the visitor to go beyond the boundaries of the known.
Vernissage and Institutional Greetings
The inauguration was held on Saturday 14 September at 19:00, enriched by the institutional greetings of Lorenzo Iorio, Councilor for Productive Activities, Tourism and Legality of the II Municipality of the Municipality of Naples, and of Dr. Eugenio Tremante, President of the Culture and Tourism Commission of the I Municipality of the Municipality of Naples.
A Unique Sensory Experience
Visiting “Intermundia” will be a full immersion in the suspended worlds created by the artist. Each work is designed to stimulate both sight and senses, offering an experience that goes beyond the simple act of observing a painting. Anyone looking for new horizons of beauty cannot miss this extraordinary exhibition. We look forward to seeing you from September 14 to 28 in the Church of Santa Maria di Portosalvo to discover the wonders of “Intermundia” together.
