The Naples Police Chief ordered the closure of two commercial establishments in Ischia for three days, following a report from the island's Carabinieri, following episodes of violence that occurred last June. The first episode dates back to the evening of June 23, when in Barano d'Ischia a young man was threatened and physically attacked inside and near a business.
The victim suffered a broken rib after being attacked by a group of people. Another violent episode occurred on the night of June 21 in Forio , where the Carabinieri intervened to quell a fight that had broken out inside a club.
After the intervention of the police, five people were reported for brawling, damage and personal injury. The closure measures were adopted to prevent further dangers to public order and the safety of citizens.
